Hi everyone this is my first post as I have only just made the decision to join the forum and purchase the database.

However before I do that I need to know if it is possible to make the Speed Camera warning 'Bong' on the N20 louder. I have tried doing this by copying the 'Bong' file of the N20 onto the PC and extending it using Audacity but when I write the file back I get no noise at all.

I currently use an old, Roadangle with lifetime updates for camera warnings but would rather just have one unit on the dash - but if I can not hear the warnings then the N20 would be no use.

Does anyone know of a way to increase the volume and duration of the N20s audable warning.

Ages ago there were some posts on this forum about the Navman sound file formats. From memory, it's a standard wav file, but must have a certain header configuration, I think extra data, that some apps put in, breaks it.

Thanks for the info, I could not find anything by searching but will try again. Will also try working on the sound file with a different app.
