updating zumo

hi-ya all

can anybody offer some advice please, i've got a zumo 550 witch came with city navigator europe nt 2008 installed on it.

i've just bought city navigator europe nt 2010 what i can't figure out is how do i put the new map onto the zumo,

i've updated the mapsource software ican make a route and transfer it to the unit no problem , but when i look into the map info tab on the zumo it still only says that it's got the 2008 maps installed.

i also know this because if i search for local fuel it shows a local filling station which has been demolished for 18 months.

any ideas, ineed to get this sorted as am going on a european tour next friday so ideally want current maps and pi's

You posted some time ago so I guess you've got it sorted by now.

But in case you haven't: Connect your 550 to your computer using the supplied USB lead and let it go into GPX Mode. A splash-screen showing a desktop computer will be displayed on your 550 when it is ready.

Run the 2010 NT disc and your maps will install (re-install) in MapSource and also they'll be installed onto your 550, all in the one operation. It takes some time.
