1.96 Maps

I have been trying to install the 1.91 maps for use with V2.

When I realised that I need 1.96 maps I asked Navman for an upgrade.

Navman have offered me V1.96 for £9.95 P&P. Is it worthwile, i.e. do you get better data quality than the Teleatlas maps that come with V2?

I'm not sure how much better the NavTeq maps/data are than the current V2 Software , but my feelings are that unless Navman decide to get away from TeleAtlas and go back to NavTeq, then I can't ever see the V1.96 maps being upgraded.

But then for the price Navman are asking for the software what have you to lose

Personally I've decided to stick with V2 cos it's too much hassle reconfiguring my iCN to run both, and I've never been able to get it to work satisfactorily. What I do though is every time I come across any discrepancies I feed it back to Navman.
