Hi Sam

Can you please advise if you have installed the new navdesk software and been able to update your navman and the new maps?

I received my dvd yesterday too, but after installing the software i cant seem to update the software nor the maps as it keepd saying unable to connect to the navman server.

Also unlike the previous navdesk there doesnt sem to be an option to update software to the navman, can you please advise how i do that also?

Thanks

Last week I rang Navman and asked about update. They did confirm my name was on list so they posted me a DVD and yesterday I managed to update my S30 with 2009 map.

However, my update was not smooth.

First, it just refused to update unless I made more storage available via an SD card.
Then it loaded in new map in SD card! But I was not happy inserting a separate SD card. The internal memory should have worked fine.

So, I deleted "Navman" folder only from S30 and then re-applied 2009 update on internal memory. This time it worked correctly.

There's one annoying problem though. Earlier speed camera warnings had a loud bong sound. Now it has almost inaudible click sound. Sad

Asked Navman how I can update the sound file separately.
