Don't know what it means but don't be certain it's not holding its charge. On holiday I had it on charge all night. My wife forgot to charge her mobile so I plugged it into the car to charge it and tried the TT on battery. It didn't even last long enough to plan a route before shutting down saying the battery was flat.

But later, I played with it setting up POI warnings and pre-planning routes for over half an hour and it was still going strong. So I think it's a software bug.

How old is it?
Mine has a pretty knackered battery and was bought in August 2007.

Does anyone know how easy it is to replace the battery inside a 720, mine doesn't hold its charge very well & I think it'll be considerably cheaper to replace the battery than buy another TT720 or newer model.

Ta!

The thread here is from a US forum including the link in the first post but it should be useful. (I hope).

I would just send mine to the Satnav Shop http://www.satnav-shop.com/index.php?ln=en&pg=5
