Personally I use either a usb memory stick or one of my plug-in usb hard-drives. Never got on well with dvd back-ups.

iam having problems finding the tools/folder options in windows explorer do i need to conect the tomtom to the pc first ?
i have a 530 and running windows xp Question

If you Open Windows Explorer there is a Menu Bar at the top. This has the File Menu, Edit Menu and View Menu, etc.

Next to the Help Menu is the Tools Menu. The Folder Options is at the bottom of the drop down list.

The Menu Bar is available whether the TT is connected or not.
