The appstore approval process takes time, they have a massive number of apps submitted each week. But I'd have hoped that there was some sort of priority channel to expedite the resolution of issues such as this.
Sygic must be pulling their hair out. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I imagine Sygic pulled it because not only were customers getting a falsely negative impression of their product but also it was costing them money the entire time.
If my understanding of Apple's refund system is correct, every failed download that caused a customer to request a refund cost Sygic ~£18 (30% of £59.99).
You'd hope Sygic would get Apple to bypass their normal refund rules, since it seems to be them at fault but, given how the whole App Store process works, you can never be sure that common sense will win out. |

I'm pretty sure that as Sygic are not liable here. This is not a refund because of a complaint about the product but rather a refund because Apple had boobed with the provision of the download itself.
I'm in contact with Sygic and once the dust has settled and it is available again I'll see if I can establish a more details explanation of what transpired.
Sygic are getting excellent reviews for their Aus/Nz and Far East products in the Appstore which bodes well, I just wish we could have a go! _________________ Darren Griffin |

This is worse than being a kid in a sweet shop with no money - how much longer are they going to mess around with this:
So a UK based user can purchase the app with maps for North America, Asia and Australia but not for Europe where we live - Bloody stupid - Mike |

That is because you have GMT +10hrs in the TimeZone Setting in your Profile. It should be GMT +1hr assuming you are living in the UK.
Check and change it by clicking the Profile link in the Links bar at the top of the forum. _________________ Darren Griffin |
