Mobile phone chargers

The charger supplied with my mobile phone is 5V 890mA.

I have other 5V chargers with different mA outputs. If I use these to charge the phone will the phone or the charger be damaged?

If I use a 5V 300mA charger does it just take longer to charge the phone or will the charger be damaged as the phone is trying to draw excessive current from it?

If I use a charger supplying more than 890mA will it damage the phone or will the phone just take the current it needs.

I don't really want to experiment and have bits of expensive equipment going up in smoke.

The voltage is the important part here, as long as its 5V then I wouldn't worry about it too much, if its 300mA it will take around 3 times longer to charge, if it were 2000mA then it wouldn't necessarily charge faster as the internal battery charge current should be current limitted to prevent fire/ explosion - MIke
