The new Haicom BT-401 - Bluetooth Slipper is a converter for existing Haicom 303 cards, the 303MMF, 303E and 303S. The slipper will not work with any other Compact Flash cards. This is yet another inovative solution from Haicom turning not only an already existing hybrid GPS Receiver into even more of a hybrid allowing it to be the first Bluetooth, Compact Flash and Mouse GPS Receiver on the market.

This is a fantastic solution for anyone wanting more than way way to use their GPS receiver. But one note of warning. If you buy this solution from BuyGPSnow.com please be aware that they will NOT ship the included USB cable with this item. That will be a separate purchase. So much for Multi-mode huh. They will ship it with the included serial cable though. When I contacted them, they were stadfast against sending the included USB cable. Looking at page six in the manual states that the cable is included as part of the total multi-mode package. But try telling BuyGPSnow.com that, they will send you a link where you can buy this included cable for an additional fee. Buyers beware.

The current HI-303MMF manual does indeed mention the USB cable - with a rather confusing (***) marking, which may just be to link to the picture, or may be related to the (*) marking for optional accessories.

However, the HI-303MMF didn't used to include a USB cable - mine came with the DB-9 serial cable, but not the USB cable. It could be, therefore, that you got older stock.

Hi,

Mine is brand new and also only came with the serial cable. It came from a different supplier, so I guess the USB is optional.
