I am running out of space on my Nuvi 255WT (about 80meg left). How much free room is needed for correct operation.
I was wondering if there is any reason why I should not / cannot remove the foreign Language & Help files from the 255WT.
Are there any other files that could be removed to make more space. |

I deleted them from my 250. I also have a TomTom 720 and deleted them there as well. The TT720 has a folder called licenses and I deleted all files not in English there as well. Don't remember if I looked or whether the Garmin has an equivalent folder. _________________ David |

I've deleted them from my 250w (suggest backing them up on your PC first) and not had any issues...
I'd also recommend getting a SD card as you can load maps, POI, Pictures etc on there as well |
