|
|
This morning I upgradedmy map to 8.25 (v825.2158). Follwing the upgrade the Favourites and PoI buttons remain firmly greyed out. My device is a Rider 2 running App 7.901 (9181/081021).
Does anyone have any suggestions please? _________________ Colin |

That will mean there are no favourites or POI installed on the device as yet, do you get the option to Add Favourite, or is that greyed out as well - Mike |

Thank you for your prompt reply Mike, sorry I couldn't reply to your question - I had to go out and have only just returned.
I have just noticed that I can (and have) add a favourite so have reset my Home location. This has now un-greyed (not sure if there really is such a verb! ) both PoI and Favourites buttons. My old set of Favourites is now stored as a PoI file as sugggested in the FAQs part of the forum.
Many thanks for your help and my apologies for being such a dumbo as not to have thought of this solution for myself!
Cheeers,

Glad to hear you are sorted out, just use the POI files from now on as they are more reliable when you update - Mike |

I most certainly will from now on Mike. This should keep me busy this evening as I have two other TTs and my two stepchildren each have one (I think it's about time they learned to look after their devices for themselves, but I guess it's far easier to leave it to someone else!!! ) _________________ Colin |
