i can confirm the D3 doesnt work with Leadtek 9537 BT GPS.

I doesnt have todo with conections or bt setings, since all other apps tomtom ozi vito etc working all fine...

D2 & D3.0.54 simple says no gps found....

The D3 support are ignoring my emails...

the costumer relationship of d3 is as bad as water and fire....

After many failed contacts to Destinator, they finally answered me 6 April. They stated that a bugfix would be published on their website by the end of the week. Now, two months later NOTHING has happened and they continue their "non-responding" policy.

As I have bought D3 because I need a navigation tool, I 've in the meantime bought TomTom3. It works perfectly !!!

TomTom is even much more user friendly. It's up and running very soon after switching on the PPC. With Destinator you first have to activate the bluetooth and thereafter pass a stupid warning screen etc.

Conclusion: SHIFT to TomTom. If you still have doubts, just compare the web sites of TomTom and Destinator.

The only problem left is that Destinator has charged me a lot of dollars for a product which does not work - in my country that is called FRAUD !!!

There's another thread on the same topic (Destinator 3 & BT GPS, specifically for Toshiba PDAs) here:

fcaeiro, I'm looking forward to seeing your workaround - well done!

In the meantime I've had the chance to drive around and test the TomTom. Believe me, I would not think of returning to the Destiantor.
The TomTom is up and working as soon as I turn the key of the car. It does not insist on a stupid splash screen and it starts off directly from where I left it.
The BT gps is managed directlty by TomTom. Thus, now initial starting up of the BT communication. Also the the items in the display are more logical for MY use. With Destinator you must shift display VIA A MENU in order to get info about eta, velocity, route etc. in TomTom you see most of it and the rest you see by a screen swap by means of a simple finger touch on the screen.

Today I ordered the whole maps of whole Europe from TomTom and I will not be surprised if Destinator some day will end up in the group of failed dot-com firms.
