map installation problem

i am sure this is old story and u know what to do - i was trying to find reply searching forum, but none of the tips worked. i am using ipaq 2210 + tomtom wired gps. i haved installed tomtom 3.0 with netherlands + major roads maps and all works well. recently i was trying to install german map as i am going there very soon, but during instalation, after choosing a map and where to install (on pocket pc) error - disk access problem appears. i was trying to install map on pc to transfer this via active sync later, but same problem... any idea guys??? please help...

Sounds like you need to get your CD replaced.

I had much the same problems loading maps for France and switzerland. Although the disks looked clean, I gave them a good clean with a tissue, and all was well after. Hope this might help.
