First of all, apologies if this has already been asked!

Whenever I go away on business trips, I always end up staying at Premier Inn hotels. From their website, you can download a POI file in either Tom Tom or Garmin format

I have the Tom Tom one here, is there a method I can use to convert the OV2 file into a format McGuider can understand?

Thanks!

If you get the new convertor from Sygic (here) then you can use OV2UPI 2.3 which converts ov2 files into the UPI format used in McGuider 2008. You can then convert these to the 2009 format using the Sygic convertor easily.

Well I had all the cameras installed correctly, but whenever I approach one, McGuider throws up an unexpected error, and crashes out Sad

I think there's a thread about this problem elsewhere already, so I'll do some reading up there first Smile

My guess then is you have a Symbian based phone. Hopefully Sygic will be releasing an updated exectuable for this in the near future.

ah! Yes, I do, it's a Nokia E65 that it's running on, so that might explain it.

I've deleted the two categories I added, and the software now works quite happily Smile

I forgot to post here after graemesimpson advised me of the new update available using McGuider Assistant (it is an update program on the McGuider SD card) which fixes the crashes you have seen. If you haven't checked or updated it is well worth grabbing the fix.
