Hi Guys

I need to get an SD card for my Ipaq 3870, which of these 3 do you reckon would be the best buy. Any other recommended cards.

1. http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=46549

2. http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=44204[/url]

3. http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=52359

Cheers

It would have been easier if you just put the name of the SD card rather than 3 links

The 2nd link didn't go anywhere

I am using an Integral SD 256MB

Pretty sure they will all work the same, just get the best deal for you

Sorry

1. Kingston 256MB Secure Digital (SD) Card

2. Viking 256MB Secure Digital Card Retail

3. PNY 256MB Secure Digital Card

The reason i ask is because i want to get the ones with the fastest read speeds and i also read some where the Panasonic ones are the best. Are any of these rebranded Panasonic or Toshiba ones?

Cheers

Got a Kingston 256mb from there myself the other week.

Works fine in my 2210, and on my Dazzle reader/writer.

Cant fault the cards at all, and at that price, its a bargain.

Have you tried valueflash? www.valueflash.co.uk
They are slightly cheaper (i.e. Kingston is £32 inc vat.) plus they are UK based.

Rather than buying 'blind' from ValueFlash, I suggest emailing them on sales@valueflash.co.uk and asking what SD cards they have that are made by Panasonic in your desired size.

These won't be the cheapest cards, but they should be free from compatibility problems and are the fastest SD cards I'm aware of. I believe of ValueFlash's current range, the Dane-Elec XS 256MB (not the standard Dane-Elec) at around 55 pounds including VAT and shipping and the Integral 512MB at around 100 pounds including VAT and shipping are both Panasonic made cards. Do check this with them first, though.

Many brands, such as Integral, buy cards from various manufacturers and label them. Accordingly, it can change from batch to batch and seller to seller what you get - which is why some people rave about certain brands whilst others are having terrible trouble with them.

Both Integral and Lexar have shipped both Panasonic or Toshiba cards (good) and Sandisk cards (bad) as their standard SD cards!

I bought some cards from mymemory.uk.com

I can recommend them. Please note SD Cards from Sandisk come from China. Not sure if it has an impact. But heard that 'Made in China' Sandisk SD Cards were lower quality than others.
