GARMIN XT & POI's

Just bought the Garmin XT for my PDA. Works a treat (so far!)
Question is; Can I download the Speedcamera database/POI database onto it?
It comes on a 512MB microSD with around 100MB free. As mentioned elsewhere in this Forum, the Garmin (inbuilt) ones are c**p(' Mad

If your PDA has a MobilePhone built in you can download Garmin's POI's but although mine has (iPAQ914c), I didn't buy it for that and the Tarrif I am on (or would need to be on if I changed) would cost the Earth if I used it in that way! (I want to go round the world - not buy it!)

Is it just a case of downloading of PGPSW as usual (excel/CSV??) or what?

The PGPSW camera database is just a set of POI files, and the Mobile XT is in the compatible list on the camera download page

Find it in the big yellow and green chart click and on the link on the right side of to get instructions which are relevant for any POIs, not just the cameras.
To load the POI files you need the POILoader software from Garmin.

As confirmation, page 12 of the on-line copy of the Mobile XT manual (HERE), says you can add custom POIs using POILoader (just like other Garmins)
