deleting files

Please can anyone tell me if it is possible to remove the map from my 720 without causing any problems....I want to free up some space. I have a map on my sd card that I use and all the speed cameras etc are on there.

As long as you have the map folder backed up to your PC using Windows Explorer just delete it from the device - Mike

I have the 920 and that is what I did I copied the map I am using to sd card and deleated it form internal memory of unit.
