Since upgrading to App 8.300, it seems if i leave my TT on when i'm not moving after a while it auto shuts down! I've looked in the menus but no option to turn this off exsists! Is this a new feature, or a fault? It never shuts down when i'm driving just when i'm stopped, say doing a delivery! I like to leave it on (too lazy to turn off and on again) just suprised that if it is a feature TT never put a option to turn it off!

When you say "stopped" is this with the engine off?
There's an option to switch off the unit when external power is lost. i.e. when power is switched off to the cigarette lighter socket.

No Andy i know that, my scania has a socket that is always live, even with engine off. With the auto off on power down you get the 10 second countdown. This is different, i leave the unit on, go and do a delivery and when i get back in my cab the unit is off! As yet i haven't caught it turn off to see if theres a warning! Probibly leave it on during my break today. It's only when ur not moving, So i recon it see your stationary for say 15mins and thinks, stupid fool he's forgot to turn me off, good night Laughing Out Loud

15 minute and it turns off unless you move etc, this is normal and it is a new feature introduced with 8,300 - Mike

I have the perfect excuse for not knowing this - I don't RTFM, so I never read those lists of changes/improvements/corrections issued with each new release from TomTom. Wink
