No idea!
I would have thought that anyone who has a TomTom with an FM transmitter would be using the normal built-in mp3 player so wouldn't have bothered installing the TomPlayer.
The add-on was intended for devices with out the internal jukebox.

Nothing to stop you trying it and reporting back though!

TT_Maps added to the list...

It enables the use of raster maps (e.g. topographic maps) on your TomTom. The software is still under development, but is already usable.

Had a look at this and seems a basis for a good program it worked on my V1 running 7.162.
However on upgrading to v7.900 it still works but when exiting to go back to the main tomtom navigator program it corrupts the MapSettings.cfg file.
There is a note on the site that it does not work with v8.3.
Hope this is of some help.

That's not actually correct.

Unfortunately, most of the people who produced these add-ons have given up trying to keep up with TomTom's software changes, as they have no support or developers' tools available to them any more.
As time goes on, fewer and fewer will continue to work.

How do I install TripMaster onto my TomTom 720.

In Home it states that "the item will not run on my device" and hence does not allow it to be installed via Home. Is there a direct way of installing it?

I'm running TT v8.010 and Home v2.4.0.104.

Ok, got it sorted, just unpack the cab and dump it on the root of the TT.

Is it working for you? The author of Tripmaster does not guarantee it will run on v8 software at all, but there have been reports on the forums that some people have managed it.

Tomtom Player is now compatible to V.8.3! Check this out:

http://www.tomplayer.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=204&action=new

It works on my TT730 wit a little trick, u need to add this two files to Tomtom player folder: force reboot and tomplayergui.sh from wolfgar posts (only registered users can download this files):
http://www.tomplayer.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=199&p=2

Enjoy video and audio!!

Tripmaster runs ok, though a bit slow. What I was really after was just a trail of where I'd been, so installed NEMA log instead and that works just fine.

NMEA Logger allows you to record, as they are received by the TomTom, the NMEA frames or decode the frames during reception.
(from: http://www.webazar.org/tomtom/plugins.php?lang=uk)

You can then convert the log files to e.g. gpx or kml with GPSBabel.

Does anyone know if TT Maps ( http://jrepetto.free.fr/ttmaps/en/index.html ) works on 8.350 ???

That looks like a cracking little app. but I'm not going to bother if others have had problems on 8.350.
