The x 2 bitmaps give you the extra large icon in the top left corner of your screen |

As v8.3 has changed the handling of POI Icons, the set we used to bundle results in a tiny icon at top left with 8.3.
So we decided to bundle the x2 size icons that have been available as an additional download for some time now. These give you the maximum size icon possible at top left. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Cheers | The software is for the x20/ x30 units but the x2 icons included in the download will work fine with your device - Mike |

What about TT6 on a PDA - do the x2 bitmaps do anything and if not are they dormant or do I need to delete them from the Map folder on the SD card? |

If you get a large Icon at top left of the map display then you can use these, if you don't then they are superfluous and can be deleted. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I've a Go V2. Should the X2 files need to be renamed to work? |

No. If your device supports X2 icons then it will use them, if it doesn't it will ignore them. _________________ Darren Griffin |
