Camera Icons

I have a Garmin Nuvi 300. I have installed the safety camera data base which is working ok. However unlike the Garmin database it seems to warn about cameras the same whether they be mobile or fixed. I assume that the camera icon is the indicator. However these are so small that they are barely visible to the naked eye. Have I done something wrong or can these icons be enlarged to make them visible without a magnifying glass?

Hi and welcome.

If you are getting the same icon regardless of type then it sounds like you have downloaded the Single File Database. I would use the Consolidated Database as it uses different icons for different camera types.

You can use slightly bigger icons (24x24 instead of 22x22) from here which you use instead of the ones that come with the database download.

I also have a Nuvi 300 but prefer the 'Speed Zoned Complete' database. When I first joined I downloaded all three and tried them all to see which one I liked best.
