Garnin and TomTom confuse

I'm a long time GPS user currently with a TomTom One V2.

I'm totally confused by Garmin's and TomTom's product ranges now and what the differences are between all the models. Is there a site/page anyone can point me to with a chart(?) listing the priciple differences?

A chart for Garmin, and a separate one for TomTom would be fine...

I don't know of a table as such but you can compare up to 5 Garmin models here and TomTom Models here

TomTom also do a Product Adviser here where you can specify what you want and it'll indicate which models fit your requirements.
