Latest Holux Kit which to buy?

I have just had my car stolen and my trusty Holux GPSlim236 was in it.

As the only teeny critisizm I ever had with the GPSlim was battery life and ocasional acuracy issues when using it as a pedestrian but that was all it served me perfectly.

The new unit has to be bluetooth and cable to work with the following kit:

1.Sony Ericsson P1 (TomTom Equiped) Bluetooth Connection Only

2.Sony Ericsson W960i (Wayfinder 7 Equiped) Bluetooth Connection Only

3.Eee Pc Cable connection or Bluetooth MS Autoroute 2007 Equiped

4.Dell Laptop Cable connection or Bluetooth MS Autoroute 2004 Equiped

What I would like to know is. when I bought the Holux GPSlim236 the SiRF Star III chipset was the hot ticket. It seems that Holux have moved to a new chipset the MTK MT3318 Low power consumption GPS chipset.

I have identified three Holux units I am interested in buying but I would like some advice from users who are more familiar with modern GPS products please.

Holux - M1200 Could hang around neck it looks small

Holux - M1000

Holux - M1000B Cant see the difference between this and the M1000 apart from looks!

OR is there something better available? price is less important than efficiency up to a point!

I am also thinking of buying the Holux 1200 with MT3318 chipset - funny there's hardly any information on it here

I want to know how it compare to the Sirf III chipset
