The first picture is intended as a clue, but does anyone have an idea as to what caused the second picture?

The van and trailor are stationary so its not spray from the wheels, and no the brakes are not on fire!

I'm assuming then that the van and trailer have somehow come into contact with a high voltage cable, perhaps at the ignition point on the roof?

Must have been a very high voltage for it to seek earth through the tires!

10 out of 10 - must try harder with the next one - being wet the tires will not be very good insulators, 33KV is sufficient to warm things up!

Athough have you noticed the first picture which is subtle - Americans use White as "Hot" - Mike
