I'll have a see about mounting mine on the new AlmostAudimetallicsilvervan. But I'm down to my last spare DV tape. Don't Audis have windscreen wipers? _________________ Dennis

I have a funny feeling I won't be passing an active one in the next few days, so just in case really. And I can't just use anything off you tube unless you own it. |
I don't but I can get some if you want it, I'll set up the kit and go hunt one down this weekend _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks. While I can easily get all the other footage of speed cameras I need myself, actually finding a in use mobile location has got to be like a needle in a hay stack unless you know their habits! _________________ Dom

Ah, I confess I missed the bit about 'mobiles'! Never the less I'm off to Popham on Monday and they always deploy mobiles on the 303 whenever there is an event on there or Thruxton so I'll set up the camera in the hope of nabbing one in action! _________________ Darren Griffin |

I got it. I got my money shot! Some bloke inadvertently left a speed camera van by the side of the road near where there is a regular mobile camera site, how fortunate. _________________ Dom

How are you fixed for film? I took mine out yesterday and got quite a few, including Specs. _________________ Dennis

Thanks Dennis
I've got a bit now, probably enough to make something, but in my experience having too much film is better as you have more to choose the best bits from. Also a little variety will make it more interesting!
Can you send me what you have! _________________ Dom

I now have pretty much all the footage I need say for a few oddities which I could make do without. I'm just about to start editing now
Darren did you get my pm regarding the screen shots. If you don't have the time to do them don't worry, I'll make do.
And Dennis will you be able to send the footage you have to me? again don't worry if you can't. _________________ Dom

What happened to the telephone, getting in the car on a day off and any other method to go and see the person in question? |
A few months ago, before I had the first clue to what FaceBook was all about, I would've 100% agreed with you, but my 21 year old daughter has given me a new insight into the whole phenomenon.
OK, she is only one example I know, but basically she has more contact (both face-to-face and electronic) with more people as a direct result of FaceBook. Her and her friends and colleagues follow each others flagged posts, often taking the form of diaries, and interact with each other (and their nights out) by invitation.
She can check the FaceBook entries of others and decide which individual or group she would like to get to know better.
Her friendships new and old are consolidated and flourish, and meet-ups increase. She now has groups of friends that she's met through other groups of friends... equalling more weekends and nights out _________________ Robert Brady |

Yup message received, haven't managed to grab any footage as yet but can do tomorrow. The demo mode flashes Demo so I'll have to set up the camera in-car and grab live footage. _________________ Darren Griffin |

There was a version of TT software that didn't flash the "Demo" logo at the top of the screen IIRC, if you have that stored on the PC it might be of some use? - Mike |

How do I prepare it for you? - presumably email attach it, but it will need to be less than a few MB won't it? _________________ Dennis
