hi
i am trying to connect a Tom Tom one running off App. 7.162 to a Blacknerry pearl on T-Mobile contract and am having trouble, once it gets to 65% it stops and i get a "unable to set up wireless dat aconnection.

Really would appreciate some help with this one

Ah - that old 65% and then stops, post, for which I seem to be the elected member responsible for answering (only because I was the idiot dumb enough to leave it so long)...

Answer mate... LEAVE IT. That is leave it - at least a good 35 minutes, before actually deciding it's hung.

As for 98% of the people I have gave this advice to on here, they find that doing so actually has results (so not to say you won't be the 2% that it doesn't work for). Then, after you leave it such a silly length of time, one of two things usually happens...

a) It works, finishes, and woopeedoo!

b) it Fails - BUT with a warning message that then asks do you want to continue manually.

And if you say yes, and accept the offered values, and choose "Automatic" for the IP address etc, it should then work anyway.
