Hi Guys,

I have just started a job which means I am on the road all the time. I dont need a sat nav but looking for a speed camera detector.

I have searched the forum in regards to both of these but not find much on the Indic8tor.

What I would like to know is that how accurate is the PGPSW database on the drivesmart compared to the the PGPSW database for sat nav?

Anyone use/used or seen the indic8tor system? How good is that?

TIA

Hi and welcome.

Not sure i understand your question. "how accurate is the PGPSW database on the drivesmart compared to the the PGPSW database for sat nav".

The PGPSW is the PGPSW database. The database accuracy is essentially the same for all units, TomTom, Garmin, etc. The only difference between brands is the format is presented in for the individual brands.

Or did you mean "how accurate is the camera database on the drivesmart compared to the the PGPSW database for sat nav"??

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to know is that does the PGPSW database for the DS work and alert the same as the sat nav databse. My reason for this question is that I have heard there are conflicts when using it on the DS.

Is that due to the DS databse?

How about the indic8tor? It is small as the talex system but how good is their database?

Anyone have/has the snooper s3? I have seen this on the net for £65 with free lifetime updates Shocked Does this pick up all the mobile cameras etc?

TIA

Why not ask in the DS forums? There are plenty of users there running DS's with our Db.

drivesmart can use heading data (which we release for those units that can support it) so in a sense the DS version of our database is actually better than the tomtom, garmin, navman etc versions.

you only get a conflict if you run both the DS and PGPSW databases - but why you would want to is beyond me!
