Is it possible to add speed camera overlays to the above system?

I can't find any information on the SatNav Land Rover use in the Freelander 2, so have no idea what is possible, or not...

Thanks in advance for any help.

I went and paid for my freelander 2 today, it's an alpine based system running on a DVD which is under the drivers seat....

I'm gonna have a play when I get mine, hopefully you will just need to burn a new DVD with the extra points added... will see when I get mine... not for a few months yet though! dam wait lists!

Have found pimp-my-nav, which should add the POI points, but no audio warning...

However, my maps seems very out-of-date, so will have to update first.

Hi I have just purchased a Freelander 2 (2007) and having looked at the threads on this forum wondered if any one had now managed to download the speedcamera database to their system?

Hi

I saw your comment below and wondered if you have had any luck with burning a CD with the extra POIs Speed Cameras etc.

I pick up my new vehicle next week and don't really want to have my faithful old Garmin stuck to the windscreen alongside the new set up.

Cheers

PS Sorry if this message is a bit of a muddle. I don't seem to have worked out the operation of this forum very well

The route I have taken with having a car with an inbuilt Sat Nav was was to buy a Inforad which uses the PGPS camera system !! they do not give spoken warnings but beeps when entering a speed camera zone !!

The Inforad is a a bit like Marmite you either love it or hate it !!
They can be purchased through Halfords
