What's happening at TomTom?

Hi All,

I don't know if anybody else is experiencing my current situation, or has any idea what's going on?

I ordered a TTBT + car kit from TotalPDA on Easter Sunday, they emailed on the Tuesday saying there would be a delay getting them and it would be last Friday (16th) before they would get them. Well still nothing today, so I phoned TotalPDA, apparently there has been a problem with the BT chipset (I think I may have read about this here) and TomTom are struggling to get kits out.

Anyone else waiting or have any more info?

I am hoping they are sorting the problems with dieing receivers.

Yep, I am suffering in the same situation - got TT3 Nav BT on order from GlobalPositioningSystems. Had to email them to be told that they're now expecting stock 4th May. I've been trying to sort this GPS package since beginning of April - first got stuffed by limited supply of Ipaq 4150 now TomTom. Am starting to wonder if it might not be safer to take the Emtac route.

Hi,

Well I arrived home today to find the whole package waiting for me!?!

They must have got some soon after I talked to them yesterday.

Hopefully this should mean yours is on the way as well Antony.

I order mine from Total PDA today, and was told stock would arrive next wednesday and I'd have it by friday. I just hope that's true!

Got mine yesterday - which was earlier than I'd been expecting.
