What can we tell you?
Everyone has their own preferences and all the major brands have their differences, strong points and weak points.
You have a large budget, I would say you only need to spend £200-250 at most to get a top of the range model.
Go and actually see a few in a shop, and get a feel for the brands you like the look of. Then come back and read a few reviews on this and other satnav sites. Then if you've got any secific questions, ask away and people will give their opinions and advice.
