Something i have been wondering about and would like to know what you thought.

On my 710 when i tap the signal strenth bar then the version it gives you the details for that unit (as per my signatures). But when i look at it in TT Home in Operate my Go the details are all different. like below:

Looking on the TomTom : App 7.162 (8492/071121) OS:2327
61 MB RAM (free: 28.6 MB)
GPS v1.21, Boot 4.8600

Looking through Home : App 7.162 (8492/040301) OS:1000
61 MB RAM (free: 61.0 MB)
GPS v1.21, Boot 1.0012

Why is it that both from the same unit are different depending how you look at them. Confused Confused

Gremlins or bugs you decide although the dictionary description of Gremlins rules this out, so I guess a software bug (one of quite a few IMHO) is responsible for this -
Question if I may, why do you use TomTom Home to view the device? I don't trust this PC application for anything unless absolutely forced to use it - Mike

See how the satellite bars also jiggle up and down in Home? Even when you're indoors?
And the battery indicator is off doing its own thing too! Laughing

And your spectacles got fogged up, too. Because in Home, the App is 7.161 isn't it? Twisted Evil

Has anyone tried checking the GPS status from within TT Home? Amazing how good the GPS reception is suddenly... Smile
