So opened up with Netscape and downloaded file (speed zones) but it is only 172 kilobytes, that cannot be correct surely. Opens with Stuffit but only the licence agreement is there. What am I doing wrong? Using Mac G5 and latest Garmin POIloader. Garmin c310.
That's about the right size of the Zip File.
As to the Mac part, I don't know. I think there are 67 files in the Speed Zoned d/l,. Can only think that there was a problem with the download, but the size is right. _________________ Richard

Thanks for the reply. I downloaded the files from CD (came free with it) when I bought the unit using a PC at work. Now I'm trying to update at home on the Mac. Perhaps I'll have to try at work on Monday.
Managed this morning to unzip and load files onto Garmin c310. (update: did not)
Firstly I needed a new version of Stuffit (12), this unzipped file and placed it into a folder automatically. Then there was a problem installing onto the unit, solved by downloading latest USB drivers from Garmin site. Will update if any further developments.
Actually it defaulted to loading file to computer whilst I looked away, didn't think it had taken long! Files are definitely there though no separate csv folder, just has trouble downloading to device. Will keep trying.
Update: Tried on a pc laptop using standard Garmin lead and pc software; there were no problems. Can only assume compatibilty problem between Mac and standard lead/software.
