Training Centre problems Edge 305

When I try to update my Training Centre program, I get the message 'a communication error has occurred'.
I have tried switching off my firewall, any other thoughts?

Hi Brayn, Welcome to the forum!

It's been a while since I did an update on my Edge 205, and a slight pc problem in between has meant I haven't re installed the software again yet. Maybe the Edge 205 needs to be connected to the usb when you run the update. Also some firwalls have a habit of not switching off completely. If in doubt then do a backup of your data an re install the garmin software again! A fresh install always seems to work for me.

Thanks for those suggestions, Dom. I tried them, to no avail! I then got a response from Garmin instructing me to download the latest version via an address in their e-mail! May have been a general problem.
