Medion Sound Problem

Hi All,

I have just bought and set up the Medion GPS and very good it is too. The maps and the navigation are fantastic and acurate to a few feet.

Problem, there is no sound, no little lady telling me which way to go.The pocket PC has sound and all the settings seem ok but no sound when navigating. Is there a secret button somewhere?

Hi Andrew, I don't have a Medion to hand but does the PocketPC play system sounds OK? What I shall do is check my eval unit this evening and see if there is any option in the software to disable voice navigation and reply to this thread.

Couldn't find anywhere that you could disable sound so spoke with Medion. They suggest a Hard Reset and it sounded like they had heard of this issue before! Let me know if this resolves the issue?

This happened to me. A hard reset cured it!! BUT it happened again. This time I looked in settings/sounds & notifications and found that the enable sounds for programs was not ticked. This cured it (again)

Hi All,

Sorry, should have replied earlier. The hard reset worked a treat and it now all works fine. Bit of a problem last week when I used the M6 toll road and the medion thought I was in some fields. Perhaps one day there will be an update I can purchase.
