Garmin streetpilot III power

Hello all, i have a streetpilot 3 on the way at last (i wanted one when they came out!)

I have had the etrex, gpsIII and gpsIII+ and more recently the i3 till it sadly wet fiz..

I'm wondering a couple of things..

I notice the gpsIII/+ power fitting is the same type, will it run off the plug i have on my bike that is also used for the gpsIII? (i.e. does it run off the same voltage)

The sound output, is plugging any normal headphone going to work ok? (assuming it is)

What software does it run? will it run on world map? euro roads and recreation? (obviously it wont postcode search but will it accept the map data so i can manually navigate about these places?)

Are there any good software tweaks?
