Sorry for downloading the database files twice, I downloaded the single file database in csv format but didn't realise that there are different types of csv files. I thought a csv file was a csv file, but my destinator wouldn't recognise any data from the first database I downloaded in csv format. Mybe reading this will save some other newbie from some headscratching, to know that there are different types of csv files, and they are particular to your operating system on the gps..

Weren't you asked what system/software you had before you got to choose which file(s) to download?

As long as your subscription is valid you can download as many copies of the database as you wish, in as many formats as you wish, as long as they are for your own use.

Many people like to test the different formats to see which one they want to use.
