Is there any way the 2d map display can be set so that north is always at the top of the screen?
The track-up view is fine for normal use but I prefer North-up when using it in conjunction with a printed map.

I'm using version 6.560.
If north-up is available on v7, is it possible to upgrade? Or is v7 the software provided on the ONE V3 only?

v7 currently exists only on the x20 devices but upgrades will be made available in due course.

i'm a pda user and would like to know a few answers about this v7 software cus the x20 is looking good and i may decide to go to a tomtom unit due to the amount of updates you lot get.

1)will a scaled down version of v7 be available for pda's, the mapping correction seems a great idea
2)I always use 2d mapping and hate the 3d view so can 2d be used on a x20 unit, is there a way to rotate it too so you see more ahead than at your sides(and how does a mount allow you to hold the unit twisted by 90 degrees)

maybe its due to using a pda for so long because of my preferences, i love using the navigation button on my ipaq to zoom in and out too

pda is so usefull, tried so many sat nav apps (tomtom is the best by far but igo looking nice, you can tilt between 3d and 2d and get some really nice views between the two) Got a camera built in,wifi, bluetooth, play any mp3's,watch films, play games, loads of apps list is endless really

We have no firm information, v7 will almost certainly be made available for older GO units and I hope it is released for PDA's.

If you're referring to the x20 device, they cannot be rotated but you can move the menu to the right hand side of the screen which allows more screen real estate for the view ahead.

You can also select 2D view and in 2D view North up and Track Up are options as well.
