First you want your own government, then you want to be nearer the French coast - what next? Laughing

Will it be an EU directive making us all wear skirts (ooops kilts)? Wink

You could always sell up and move to the Maidstone Traffic division, you'd show the Kent police how to be reasonable and maybe give them a sense of humour. Very Happy AND get some French day trips in. Razz

Just for the record, I don't support devolution. We are one land mass and I think we should be governed as one.

Now that is tempting. I got married in a kilt (wearing one I mean as opposed to the ceremony actually taking place in one)and it was the most comfortable thing ever. You should try it.

No thanks. The air is cleaner up here and I don't have to speak to too many foreign truck drivers !

Just think 999Tommo, all the fun you are missing when Operation Stack is in force on the M20. No speeding tickets for you to hand out but you'd being able to 'do' the foreign lorry drivers for 'Stopping on a Motorway and not using the hard shoulder in an emergency.'. Razz

I drive a 3.2 litre Mercedes C Class and a 3.2 litre Audi A3 Quattro. The Merc is getting replaced in a month or two with a 3.0 BMW, so I'm quite happy with my toys. A Subaru would be nice, but we once had a Mitsubishi EVO 7 and that could shake your fillings out. Not something I would like to drive every day.
