I had to pick my son up from Manchester airport over the weekend, to drive back home down South.
I had my TT6 on, selected to destination 'Home' and the 'Fastest' way.
My son powered up his new TT One and asked for exactly the same instructions.
Three times, each device begged to differ ! Twice on the motorway...'take the next exit....no, take the other one etc.,' and once on an A road...straight on with 6, or turn off with 1 ?
Strange or what ?

I have a GO700 app 6.520 OS1387 Map 675.1409 and GO710 app 6.525 OS1619 Map 675.1409.
I keep the GO700 on silent voice to stop them arguing. 8) They usually agree, but from time to time they like to go their own ways.
(OK, why two? Well, first I suppose I'm a fool with money, second the GO700 speaker is far superior for handsfree phone).

different satellite strength / gps signal at point of asking for route? one could have been 20m out so did a different route that may have saved 10 seconds or 100m over the whole journey...?

I think I know what you mean, but are you saying, keep 'resetting' route home every half hour or so, just in case it comes up with a better scenario ?

Now there's an interesting thought. My GO710 with modern chip sits in the windscreen picking up signal, whereas the GO700 in the windscreen has external aerial for which the cable runs up and along the roof lining, out the back door and onto very back edge of roof of the van. Couple of metres or more? Could be the difference between one satellite fix and the very next one? Plus the GO710 signal might be blocked by roof etc.
