John Lennon airport in Liverpool has been brought to a standstill after anti-terror police were forced to shut it due to a suspicious looking car outside. Apparently the car was taxed, insured and still had the CD player in it.

Automatic Number Plate Recognition - these are used to identify illegal vehicles, the idiots without Tax, Insurance, MoT (where applicable) or if the car is wanted in connection with any other misdemeanour.
The more of these installations the better - get the illegal idiots off the road - and NO their position is not included within the speed camera database - Mike |

I'll second that AND crush their vehicles and make them wash police vehicles daily - dressed in pink of course, especially those fitted with ANPR systems, just to rub salt in the wound.

Ah thanks for that. Yep I have heard of those, I saw a programme about CCTV and they had them in the control room, a machine bleeped everytime a wanted car went through a certain zone.
I agree all illegal cars should be taken off the road then crushed and the drivers should have their licences taken off them, if they dont have a licence their names should go on a data base at DVLA and they should be stopped from getting one forever. |
