...If I have the latest maps and software, the Navman site appears to be less than useless in the information it provides.
When I was doing my research on which GPS to buy I neglected to include Itinerary planning, alternate route planning and avoid road blocks. I don't see any of these functions in the F30. You should have bought a TomTom I hear you cry but I wanted TMC, which appears to work in the Slough area with the arial provided. Win some and lose some I guess.

The sad answer is no your maps will not be uptodate even if they were 2007.
Chances are that the maps for your F30 are 2006 maps! Should be written on the cd's or the side of the packaging. _________________ Dom

Go to Preferences/ System/ About now tap the arrow right for the next page and it will display the Europe Copyright screen which includes the map data supplier and release something like Tele Atlas, Rel. 09/2006. - Mike |

F-series devices have very few features -- that makes them both cheap and simple to use. N-series devices are much more feature rich. |
