I have finally got around to updating the software and map on my GO 500. I have just updated my tom tom software to v6.52 and installed GB map ver 675.1409

I can now no longer input post code adress searches longer than 3 digits -previously I could enter full post codes.
Crying or Very sad
From Main Menu, when I press Navigate To, I get two further screens but neither has post code search option - I can only access this option from the Address icon but this only lets me search on the first three/four digits

I have logged it with Tom Tom support but their answer was useless.

Can anyone help?

When you picked the map to download did you select the postcode option too?
There should be a folder called zip on the device. In that should be a file called Great_Britain.postal size around 9Mbyte

My son has helped me out and it is sorted :D

Managed to copy the zip file from the old SD card I had for the previous map.

That will work fine, but won't be the most up to date version.
When you downloaded the new map, you must have used "Home". Have a look at that (specifically the screen you get when you click "install to TomTom" in the left panel), because the new postcodes zip folder should have automatically downloaded at the same time, so may well be on your PC, but it was left up to you to install it to the Go.
