By mistake, I put a warning sound on a McDonald's POI's. I'm not a McDonald-fan, so I do not need to be alerted by voice. Therefore I like to delete this sound, but when I get into the "First warning"-tab. there are no way to delete the "Sound to play as first warning" Rolling Eyes or?

Hi,

If you don't want to be informed of Macdonalds you can either delete the overlay file from your PDA or if you still want to keep the overlay but don't want a warning click on the checkpoint icon, select overlay settings then highlight the overlay file for McD and select properties - first tab is detection - remove the tick in the "Detect PoI's from this overlay box" and it won't pick them up.

If your PDA isn't showing checkboxes do a soft reset first and this should make them appear. this should also allow you to clear the check box in the first warning section if you still want a visual notification of a McD but no voice.

Hope this helps,

Thank you, DinAlt. But are there no way just to delete the Sound, and keep the CP POI pop-up? (McD is not important here, just used it as an example).

Hi again,

Just go to the properties section for the overlay you want and uncheck the boxes with first and last warning in them - ths will keep the pop up but will give no sound.

(I mentioned this at teh end of my last post).
