THank you for your response, although I have to agree with the response of the previous poster. Yes I did use the search function... obviously not correctly, I did read the appropriate specification sheet for file names and nothing leaped out. I even performed a text search over several pages and after 20 minutes I gave in and posted to the forum.
Why not include an FAQ if this is irritating posters? ... I'll probably get an FAQ pointed out to me now.... although I did do a text search of that page!
Good resource by the way.... |

If you use the forum search function (magnifying glass at top of page), just entering pmobile returns lots of hits some of which have things like pmobile?? in the title.
However...

I think this is where the root of the problem lies. The main speed camera page http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Cameras, linked from the top and side of every page, where the different camera types and files are explained, does NOT mention pmobiles at all. I think if that page was updated, there might be less questions.

PLEASE don't take offence. It's just that Andy often seems to be the first to see the latest query about pmobiles. The number of times he's explained them (without a hint of a grumble), he could probably type it backwards, blindfolded and with his toes tied behind his back. On this occasion, just think a few mildly rude thoughts about him and let him off, please - he does a hell of a lot of valuable helping - I for one would seriously suffer if he stopped doing so. _________________ Dennis

I admire your restraint Andy, Perhaps Its a windup, but seriously It can be a long and winding road doing a search trawling thru sometimes hundreds and hundreds of posts and must admit I do find it usefull but sometimes very demanding and frustrating, but perhaps not in this case. |
