So which card is better for storing my maps on? also can you run the software at the same speed from these cards?

I've heard that CF is a bit faster, but maybe someone who knows more can confirm. It's also cheaper and you can get up to 1gb. But it's certainly bigger and heavier although we're only talking a few mm and a few g! I've been wondering the same thing because I'm thiking of the 2210 but something else that's putting me off is I'm not sure if the CF card sticks out of the 2210 or if it sits completely inside the hole flush with the top of the PDA.

Another important consideration, SD cards can be lost very easily, on most an tiny knock can trigger the eject mechanism and it will pop out. It's pretty annoying to find your SD card has gone for a walk.

At least with CF the mechanism is such that they are far less likely to drop out and if they need you would be probably notice or here it hit the floor!

CF now stores up to 5GB - at a price!

I have SD and not had a pop-out insident yet, though it is easy to do - I chose it even though CF is a little faster because I wanted CF for other stuff.

If you don't, CF is cheaper, too.
