I was about to reply saying that PayPal had emailed me to say my card was about to expire, but when I checked my emails I found it was eBay that sent the email: "This is a courtesy reminder that the following credit/debit card on file for your eBay account will soon expire".
I thought PayPal was owned by eBay? If so you'd think they'd extend the 'courtesy reminder' to all PayPal accounts, regardless of whether the card holder has an eBay account. _________________ Anita

And robbrady - I know it's 0.0 something, (a hundredth of a thingy) but you should say how many zillions a month and how many extra zillions at times of Sea Bits. |
It equates to a million visitors a month - plus you of course Dennis _________________ Robert Brady |

Hah - Only because it has cute jumping up and down things and laughing things and loving things and crying things and signpost things. And thumbs up things.
And it's a zillion a day (plus me) when they're doing Sea Bits. _________________ Dennis

Is that a million discrete visitors, or a million visits?
Plus Dennis, of course. I'm not sure if he's discrete, discreet, or neither! _________________ Anita

Would that be "sans teeth, sans hair, sans everything" type of discrete, or "sans teeth, sans hair, sans everything" type of discreet With these teeth (censored picture) I am discrete, and not discreet!
Why is the touchpad on my new hyper expensive MacBook Pro 17 so much faster at whizzing around than the very expensive bluetooth mouse I bought to go with it? I've set the BT Mouse to top speed and still have to pedal it like mad to get across the screen, whereas the touchpad is like touchpads should have always been like. Another £50 wasted (BT Mouse). _________________ Dennis

Discrete visitors hover around a quarter of a million a month... but varies widely across the year.
Happy to say that traffic is still growing though. Only down to folks like you and Dennis making it such a welcoming place! _________________ Robert Brady |

That's an incredible number, Rob! 8O

Thanks for that, but I think it's largely due to the reputation of the speed camera database, although the help given by staff, moderators and members makes it a very special place. _________________ Anita

It is frustrating having "paid" for something and not getting it straight away, I understand how johnnyb0y must have felt.
Yeah, there is a FAQ somewhere which explains this echeques thing but please folks, let's remember to the new users and not bite them.

If you email subscriptionsATpocketgpsworld.com with either your PayPal Transaction ID or the email address you use when making PayPal payments we'll investigate straight away. If you've read the full thread you'll understand that this is only rarely our fault.
We have a failed/pending record on our subscriptions system but no trace of any recent payments when searching on your email address so a Transaction ID is needed for us to trace this. _________________ Darren Griffin |

MaFt has already confirmed it is PENDING and therefore probably an e-cheque.
I pointed out e-cheques can take 8 days or more and you've only waited 6 since you first posted on Fri Jun 22, 2007 6:06 am
