Last time I used the USB hack (about 4 months ago) everything was fine. Tried connecting the C510 to the PC this morning but got a "USB device not recognized" message.

I then tried an unsuccessful driver install using the original Mio DVD (it comes back saying driver is installed) followed by an uninstall and re-install of the transfer software but the device stubbornly refuses to be recognised using the transfer hack and the original transfer software.

I then tried a web search for a C510 USB driver (getting desperate now!) followed by a search of the forums. Although I vaguely remember some threads yonks ago about dead USB connections, I could not find anything particularly relevant to my problem.

Can anyone help or point me to an up-to-date driver.

Many thanks in anticipation.

I don't suppose that you have changed your OS to Vista in the meantime have you?
It don't work with my Vista laptop, and Mio have not yet sorted it (well last time I checked)
