The subscription is Opt-In which means if you subscribe for one month, you pay £2 and at the end of the month your sub expires. We do not automatically take payments when a sub expires. If you wish to continue you can pay the sub fee again then but its your choice.

As for which database is best, that's down to personal preference, you can try them all and find out once subscribed.

Yes. £2 gives you one month's access, unlimited downloads. £19 for one year.

PayPal (so long as you pay from funds rather than eCheque) will get you instant access upon payment.

If you fund payments using a Debit Card in PayPal then that should be instant.

Im angry at the way my payment has been handled, I have used this site several times and hadnt too much of a problem before; but this time I paid on Sat morn with paypal attached to my debit card etc and still today this site is telling me that I need a subscription. This is very poor in this modern day and age for a site to take this long to process orders, when Amazon can have goods delivered to me next day, anywhere in the UK and you cant even properly process electronic orders!!

Also trying find that it was my subscription was the cause of my frustration nay rage on sat before a 4.5hr drive was difficult because I feel you couldnt squeeze any more information on the web pages. They feel over congested there is no site map, no structure and after many attempts to search the "download page" a word search on the page doesnt even find the word 'downloading' as mentioned in your beginners guide.WTF!

All i seem to be doing is opening more tabs going round and round in circles. Paypal have invoiced me within minutes of my transaction with them but still now FIFTY FIVE HOURS later Im still waiting to get to your download site. I dont have a problem paying but I do have one with incompetance, and as your pages were so full with words pictures and flash animations its very hard to see that Its not my fault, Im just left high and dry. Whats the point of having a prefered method of payment when you can do nothing about it, esp now since Ive completed my return trip.

Whoa, we clearly state on our subscription pages that the most common cause of delays in subscription authorisation is when payment has been made via PayPal by eCheque. As I have no payment information from you I cannot confirm this but if you email me your Transaction ID I will happily do so.

In such cases (and this is a matter between you and PayPal) we do not receive payment until the eCheque has cleared. As soon as payment is received your account is automatically activated and for the majority of subscribers this occurs within seconds of payment being made

An eCheque payment can occur when the debit or credit card details held by PayPal have expired. Before making allegations of incompetence you should clarify if this is the case, I'll wager it is.

eCheques are a real pain!

I once sold something on eBay and the buyer used PayPal eCheque for payment - it took over 2 weeks for the flaming thing to clear.

It might be worth considering setting up your PayPal account with credit card and/or bank account details because if a buyer uses these options the transaction is completed instantly.

I trust you'll have no problem writing an apology then? Although I'm beginning to think you may, as it's over three hours since Darren showed it was your own incompetence that caused your problem, yet you still haven't acknowledged, far less apologised. Common courtesy dictates that if you blow your stack without justification, you should crawl back humbly with your tail down and say sorry.

Will they ever learn to read first? Don't they get that those having the problems are the minority and that it must be them that is at fault and not the site? No. They just blow their top and blame everyone else rather than ask nicely.....

I couldn't agree with mcgauze any less.....
