Navman Pin570 and TomTom Software

Hi guys

Halfords hae been selling of The Navman PiN570, so I jumped in a bought one, have reset the Navman and installed TomTom 6 but no satelitte fixes are obtained, Question does the Navman PiN570 allow you to get it to work with TomTom 6 Software and if so what are the inbuilt GPS Satellite settings i.e which type of receiver, which connection, and baud rate.

This has been answered many times, use the search button - the Navman Software forum is probably a better palce to ask this question.

The gist of it is yes - TT will work on the 570.
Turn the GPS ON on the 570 in the settings. Some people have reported problems with the indicated state, so turn it off and on if it is showing on.

Use Winfast navigator to ensure the GPS is working before starting up TomTom.

Connect Tomtom using the same port settings as Winfast, Make sure to exit any applications using the GPS before starting TT, including Navman, Winfast and any otehrs - a SW reset is a certain way of achieving this.
