Help please all this "simple" text speek has me lost.
I can download, unzip and instal on my Garmin i3 the zoned camera file and it warn when approaching a speed change etc but it doesnt show the camera on the screen whilst driving. I feel sure that it once did but can get it to repeat. I would like audio warnings and be able to see the camera on screen as I pass it. Is this possible? Replies in easy to understand language please.
Great site, even with these minor snags well worth the money / investment.
thanks

You will see the icon if speeding (not advisable) or have a look at Ash10's Camera installer its in one of the stickys above this post, this allows the icons to be displayed if I remember correctly. Spoken alerts don't work on the i3 so you are stuck with the bongs etc unless Garmin come up with something new for the device - Mike

Thanks Mike for the very prompt reply.
I thought I had seen the camera icons on the screen once and I wasn't over the limit. Bongs are OK but voice would be better, but then it was cheap and it does work.
Stickys ? what stickys? Where are they?
please dont use the moron word...
thanks again

Rob, don't keep apologising - we don't bite on here! the thread starts HERE but I suggest you get a cup of tea/ coffee and have a long read through the thread to work out how to install and get this working, learn from the problems and solutions others have already found. This quote is from page 6:

With Camera Manager, you'll always get a "bong bong" and an icon/banner on screen regardless of your speed. You'll also get a reminder "bong bong" as you get a bit nearer, with a repeating "ping ping ping" if you're exceeding the speed limit 8)
So I think it does most of what you want - Mike

Thanks once again Mike, will get the coffee and have a go at working some of it through. This is not an apology but sometimes being new to something you dont want to cock it up so it doesnt work at all.
Best wishes
and hope I can contibute something sometime.
